Ongoing Projects through the year Painting ProjectsBrigham Street - Paint hallways, snack bar and bathrooms at our main facility Mechanic Street - Help paint members' living rooms and/or bedrooms in our 10 unit apartment complex in Marlborough Professional Photographer NeededShare your creative talents to take potrait pictures of our members and to capture special moments at events. These pictures will be treasured, as well as be be used in our marketing materials. Carpentry ProjectsBuilding shelves within our snack bar area of the kitchen and closet areas.
Special CelebrationsAt Employment Options we celebrate all holidays on the actual day with staff covering the event and providing transportation to and from clients' homes. We can always use volunteers on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. Calendar ProjectLooking for volunteers to design, organize and support the development of an Annual Calendar to showcase member’s art.
Ongoing Administrative Projects Community Volunteers needed on a short-term basis to accomplish specific objectives. We are looking for volunteers currently for: Human Resources Task Force: meets monthly to support the development of a new personnel handbook, and a career ladder program for staff Development Task Force: meets periodically to support the fundraising efforts of the organization; Special Cultivation Events, Award Events, etc
Audit Task Force: meets twice a year to review audit findings and make recommendations to the Finance Committee
Property Task Force: meets periodically to support the facility needs and addresses capital issues for the organization
Board of DirectorsWe are looking for business people who are interested in participating on a professional Board of Directors of a successful non-profit, during a time of expansion. We have some exciting and challenging projects that will greatly affect our financial future and our ability to serve our population. We are looking for people who will assure our successful future because they are savvy in the areas of fund raising, marketing, corporate culture, program development and access.
